The  CGU Zine is officially online!

If you’re here, it means that you’ve either seen the Zine and can’t get enough or you’ve heard of this mythical Zine and you want to know more. Or, you’ve stumbled on to this page by accident by the magic of the interweb. In any case, welcome!

Here, in addition to back issues of The Zine and exclusive online content, you’ll find CGU events, news, and whatever else we feel inspired to post. And, since life is hectic and emails are profuse, we’re sifting through CGU emails and notifications to bring you pertinent information in a way that hopefully makes more sense than our crowded inboxes.  As we grow, we hope this site will become a reliable community space where CGU students can come together, stay abreast of CGU happenings, and learn about what other students are doing – inside and outside of the classroom. Above all, we’d like it to be an interesting, valuable, and enlightening forum for discussion that captures the vitality of the CGU community.

The Zine was founded in the fall of 2009 to help foster a greater sense of community at CGU. Going into our second semester of publication, The Zine is more than ever committed to providing a forum for student expression. Whether you feel like sharing the things that keep you up at night, or the entertaining tidbits that, somehow, help you keep your sanity as you face a flood of assignments, you can always turn to The Zine to voice your opinions, your thoughts, and the news that means something to you. The Zine reflects the viewpoints and preoccupations of the diverse population of thinkers that make up the remarkable community of CGU students.
